Tax Executive (Management Firm)

Position: Tax Executive (x5)
Location: Jalan Ipoh, Batu Lima, Kuala Lumpur

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Tax Executive to manage corporate and individual tax compliance, tax planning, and advisory assignments. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to ensure timely tax submissions while providing practical tax solutions.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and review corporate and individual income tax computations.

– Prepare and submit tax returns to LHDN.

– Handle tax estimates, revisions, and CP204 submissions.

– Prepare tax schedules and supporting documentation.

– Liaise with LHDN on tax audits, investigations, and correspondence.

– Assist clients with tax planning and advisory services.

– Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax legislation and deadlines.

– Assist in SST-related compliance where applicable.

– Support clients during tax audits and appeals.

– Keep updated on changes to Malaysian tax regulations.

– Work closely with the accounting and corporate secretarial teams.

– Perform other tax-related assignments as required.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.

– Minimum 2 years of experience in taxation or public accounting.

– Knowledge of Malaysian Income Tax Act and LHDN requirements.

– Familiarity with SST regulations is an advantage.

– Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CTIM or equivalent) is an added advantage.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

– Able to work independently and meet statutory deadlines.
