• Job Scope
• Lead interior design projects from concept development to project completion
• Develop design concepts, space planning, mood boards, material palettes and design presentations
• Produce and review detailed construction drawings, technical drawings and specifications
• Produce and/or supervise 3D modelling and realistic rendering
• Present design concepts and proposals directly to clients
• Understand client requirements, budget and practical site constraints and translate them into workable design solutions
• Conduct site visits and ensure construction works follow the approved design intent and drawings
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, carpenters, suppliers and other consultants
• Review materials, finishes, samples and shop drawings before implementation
• Identify design or construction issues and provide practical solutions
• Lead and mentor junior designers, including reviewing their drawings and design work before submission
• Establish and maintain the company's design standards, drawing standards and design library
• Ensure designs are practical, buildable, cost-conscious and aligned with project schedules
• Support preparation of design-related content and project materials for company branding and social media when required

Requirements

• Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in interior design / interior architecture
• Strong design sense with a good understanding of space planning, materials, detailing and construction
• Able to independently manage a project from design concept → detailed drawing → site implementation
• Strong technical knowledge of interior construction and detailing
• Able to review drawings and identify potential site or construction issues before work begins
• Experience leading or mentoring junior designers is preferred
• Comfortable communicating and presenting directly to clients
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Possess a valid driving licence and able to travel to project sites
• Proficient in: AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray / equivalent rendering software, Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator or equivalent presentation software
• Knowledge of 3ds Max, Enscape, D5 or other rendering software will be an advantage
• Experience working with Japanese clients or Japanese-style projects will be an added advantage
• Working Hours
• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Overtime may be required depending on project schedules.
