Head of Procurement

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.

  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish supplier agreements. (HDPE & PP)

  3. Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.

  4. Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and budget accordingly.

  5. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  6. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.

  7. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.

  8. Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

  • Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is preferred.

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • In depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
