Academic & Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management

Oversee daily center operations, ensuring efficiency and smooth execution of all activities

Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and process improvements
-
Monitor class schedules, resource allocation, and facility management
-
Ensure compliance with academic standards, examination regulations, and internal guidelines
2. Academic Management
-
Supervise teaching quality and ensure curriculum delivery aligns with MUET standards
-
Work closely with instructors to maintain high academic performance and student outcomes
-
Evaluate teaching effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives
-
Ensure proper planning and execution of training programs, mock exams, and assessments
3. Student Management
-
Oversee the full student lifecycle (enrolment, progress tracking, performance monitoring)

Handle student concerns, feedback, and retention strategies
-
Ensure a positive student experience and high satisfaction levels
-
Monitor student performance metrics and success rates
4. Teacher Coordination
-
Manage and coordinate full-time and part-time instructors
-
Handle class scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluation
-
Conduct regular meetings, training, and alignment sessions with teaching staff
-
Support recruitment and onboarding of new teaching staff
5. Reporting & Performance Management
-
Track KPIs such as student enrolment, retention, academic results, and operational efficiency
-
Prepare management reports and provide strategic recommendations
-
Collaborate with senior management on growth and expansion strategies
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, English, or related field
-
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in education management, academic operations, or training center management
-
Strong understanding of MUET, English proficiency standards, or similar examination systems is an added advantage
-
Proven experience in managing operations, staff, and student services
-
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
-
Ability to manage multiple functions (academic, operations, and people) simultaneously
-
Excellent communication skills in English. Mandarin is a MUST due to student demographics.

Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools
