Senior Engineer- Process & Chemical (Need to travel to Thailand)
Job Summary

The Senior Process and Chemical Engineer act as the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Process and Chemical Leader within Engineering & Development Services (EDS), you will work with Global Discipline Leader & Global Sub-Discipline Leaders and develop APAC resource management strategies.

You will be responsible for resource management, hiring, developing talent while building and leading a high-performance team across multiple solutions.

You will be responsible for nurturing a culture geared towards optimizing efficiency and agility in line with the company’s strategy for Global and Regional markets.

You shall lead a medium-sized team common across all solutions. You will be reporting directly to the EDS APAC Resource Leader and have a matrix connection with the Global Discipline Leader.
Responsibilities

Drive joint accountability for global project execution and safety performance.

Build project teams in conjunction with Global Discipline Leader/ Resource Leader while working with Regional Peers and EDS APAC Leader to make sure work is strategically shared across geographies and solutions.

Career development along with talent development and training.

Resource leadership such as performance management, merit, and AIP allocations.

Drive accountability for the application of processes and tools to increase efficiency.

Global growth strategy, hiring and staff forecasting including supplemental workforce planning.

Financials (staff utilization, budget monitoring, overhead control and approvals).

Identify SME’s and staff to support proposal efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in process or chemical engineering or other related field.

Typically, a minimum of 15 years related work experience.

5+ years of management experience in areas such as engineering, environmental, land services, project management and/or operations management.

Prior project execution experience.

Expertise in process engineering in industry water.

Good communication skills in written and spoken English.

Possess Professional Engineers with Practising Certificates (PEPC) if the candidate is in Malaysia.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.

Minimum of 15 years related work experience.
