Business Development Executive
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to grow the company’s presence nationwide, starting from a base in Johor Bahru.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential and commercial segments throughout Malaysia.

Act as the main liaison between the Johor Bahru office and the Singapore HQ, providing regular updates.

Report directly to the Managing Director based in Singapore, ensuring alignment with company standards, timelines, and client expectations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with property developers, contractors, homeowners, real estate agencies, and other key stakeholders.

Conduct regular market research to provide insights on industry trends, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.

Represent the brand at trade shows, networking events, industry forums, and client meetings to build visibility and trust.

Collaborate closely with both local design/project teams and the Singapore HQ to ensure smooth project handovers and consistent service delivery.

Prepare and present proposals, lead negotiations, close deals, and support client onboarding.

Submit regular sales reports, market updates, and progress summaries to the Singapore team, ensuring alignment with business goals and transparency on pipeline status.
Requirements:

2–5 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in interior design, property development, or related industries.

Strong market understanding and local networks across Johor and other key urban areas in Malaysia.

Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a strong advantage.

Self-driven, proactive, and confident in engaging with clients and decision-makers.

Willing to travel as needed within Malaysia and occasionally to Singapore for meetings or updates.
