Sales Consultant

Position: Sales Consultant – Trade Sector
Location: Seri Kembangan Selangor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and identify potential markets and business opportunities in the Asian region.

  • Develop and execute market entry strategies to establish a strong presence in new markets.

  • Conduct thorough market analysis, including competitive research and local market trends, to identify target customer segments and develop tailored value propositions.

  • Proactively engaging with potential clients, and industry players to expand business opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.

  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and other business documents.

  • Deliver compelling presentation that highlight the value proposition and capabilities of the business.

  • Negotiate and close deals that align with company goals and objectives.

  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive growth in the trading division.

  • Develop trading strategies to optimize revenue generation and market share.

  • Oversee the execution of trades and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Business Planning and Forecasting:

  • Develop comprehensive business plans for the Asian region, outlining growth targets, sales strategies, and resource allocation.

  • Conduct regular forecasting and reporting on business performance to management and stakeholders.

  • Provide recommendations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in regional business development, preferably in the Asian market.

  • Strong knowledge of trading activities and market dynamics in the region.

  • Excellent understanding of local business cultures, regulations, and consumer behaviours across various Asian countries.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Self-driven and results-oriented individual with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Possess own transport and willing to travel locally and abroad
