Regional Key Account Manager
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage key account strategies to drive revenue, brand presence, and customer loyalty.

Develop long-term partnerships with major clients, while identifying new business opportunities.

Monitor sales performance, customer behavior, and product trends to support strategic decision-making.

Plan and implement tailored promotional and trade activities that deliver strong ROI.

Coordinate closely with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure timely execution of key account plans.

Handle account forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Proactively resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Coach and mentor junior team members to enhance performance and support development.

Prepare and present regular business reviews and progress reports to management and clients.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 6–8 years of experience in FMCG sales or key account management, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Prefer prior experience handling the Watsons (or similar chains such as 99 Speedmart, Econsave etc) account with proven results in driving sales and managing the relationship.

Experience handling both local and international retail chain accounts

Proficient in English (written & verbal) and Mandarin is preferred.
Strong analytical thinking, commercial sense, and structured planning skills. -
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). -
Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships proactively and systematically — even without formal CRM tools.
Remuneration packages:
Basic: From RM15,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Working Days: Mon to Sat – 5.5 days work week
Working Hours: 9:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday (Except Public Holidays)
9:30am – 1:30pm Saturday
