Regional Key Account Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage key account strategies to drive revenue, brand presence, and customer loyalty.

  • Develop long-term partnerships with major clients, while identifying new business opportunities.

  • Monitor sales performance, customer behavior, and product trends to support strategic decision-making.

  • Plan and implement tailored promotional and trade activities that deliver strong ROI.

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure timely execution of key account plans.

  • Handle account forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

  • Proactively resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.

  • Coach and mentor junior team members to enhance performance and support development.

  • Prepare and present regular business reviews and progress reports to management and clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in FMCG sales or key account management, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Prefer prior experience handling the Watsons (or similar chains such as 99 Speedmart, Econsave etc) account with proven results in driving sales and managing the relationship.

  • Experience handling both local and international retail chain accounts

  • Proficient in English (written & verbal) and Mandarin is preferred.
    Strong analytical thinking, commercial sense, and structured planning skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships proactively and systematically — even without formal CRM tools.

 

Remuneration packages:
Basic: From RM15,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Working Days: Mon to Sat – 5.5 days work week
Working Hours: 9:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday (Except Public Holidays)
9:30am – 1:30pm Saturday
