Regulatory Reporting & IPO Readiness

Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Lead the timely preparation of Group consolidated financial statements and Annual Report, ensuring full compliance with Bursa Malaysia’s listing requirements and relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., SC, MFRS, LHDN).

Ensure financial statements adhere to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and other relevant accounting standards.

Strategic Financial Management

Support top management in developing and executing financial and funding strategies in line with the company’s IPO plans and overall business direction.

Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, highlighting variances and driving corrective actions.

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing strategic insights for decision-making.

Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to optimize company performance.

Governance, Compliance & Team Leadership

Ensure full compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

Establish, review, and enhance financial SOPs and internal control systems to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risks.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions for audit, tax, and financing matters.

Oversee payroll processing in compliance with labour and tax laws.

Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.

Project & Operational Support

Support costing and pricing strategies for interior design projects.

Collaborate closely with project and operational teams to ensure financial accuracy and discipline.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly preferred.

Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is required.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4-5 years in a managerial role.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and taxation laws in Malaysia.

Prior experience in interior design, construction, or consultancy industries is an advantage.

Familiar with IPO processes and public listing financial requirements is a strong plus.

Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
-
High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
