Farm Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the durian plantation.

• Develop and implement farm management plans, including planting, fertilization, irrigation, and harvesting schedules

• Monitor crop health, pest control, and disease management

• Ensure optimal yield and quality of produce, particularly for premium durian varieties

• Manage and supervise farm workers, contractors, and supervisors

• Track operational costs, budgets, and resource allocation

• Implement and improve sustainable and modern farming practices

• Liaise with suppliers, agronomists, and relevant authorities

• Ensure compliance with local agricultural regulations and safety standards

• Prepare regular reports on farm performance, yield forecasts, and operational updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Plantation Management, Agronomy, or related field

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in plantation or farm management (durian and/or palm oil preferred)

• Strong knowledge of tropical crop management, pest control, and soil management

• Proven experience managing large-scale plantations and field workers

• Hands-on, results-driven, and able to work in a rural environment

• Good leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an added advantage
