Media Sales Executive

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to attract clients for out-of-home (OOH) billboard advertising.

  • Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and secure new clients, including Corporate brands, agencies, and advertisers, for billboard ad placements.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term business partnerships.

  • Tailored Proposals: Create customized advertising proposals that meet the unique needs of each client and maximize their advertising impact.

  • Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and potential new billboard locations to identify sales opportunities.

  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and execution.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure the timely and smooth installation of advertisements and the fulfilment of client expectations.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and other conditions to close deals that benefit both the client and the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: A degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in media sales, preferably in out-of-home (OOH) advertising, or billboard media sales.

  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the OOH advertising landscape, including media buying, pricing, and billboard regulations.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently to clients.

  • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data and client needs to craft effective advertising strategies.

  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a collaborative team player.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and any relevant advertising software.
