Position: Tax Senior
Location: Bandar Puteri, Puchong,
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and review tax computations and returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities in compliance with Malaysian tax laws.

Ensure timely submission of tax filings to the Malaysian Inland Revenue Board (LHDN).

Handle tax payments and liaise with financial institutions as necessary.

Provide clients with expert advice on tax planning and optimization strategies.

Advise clients on the tax implications of business decisions, mergers, and acquisitions.

Keep clients informed of significant changes in Malaysian tax regulations that might affect them.

Stay updated on the latest developments in Malaysian and international tax regulations.

Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and provide solutions to clients.

Identify potential tax risks for clients and recommend strategies to mitigate them.

Represent clients in tax audits and negotiations with the LHDN.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Address and resolve client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Collaborate with other members of the tax department to ensure efficient service delivery.

Mentor junior staff, providing guidance, training, and support as they navigate their roles.

Participate in professional development programs to enhance technical knowledge and soft skills.

Share knowledge and insights with team members, contributing to the overall growth of the department.
REQUIREMENTS:

A recognized degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

At least 3 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a consultancy or corporate setting.

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Malaysian tax software and tools.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
