Quantity Surveyor (Up to SGD 5000)
Our Client is a Singapore-based Interior Design Firm established in the year 2021. Their philosophy revolves around being timely, efficient and reliable.
They have completed a wide range of projects, from residential units such as landed houses and apartments to commercial units such as schools, shop houses and offices.
Tare seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their Interior Design team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have prior experience preparing quotations and costings in the interior design, renovation, or contractor/builder background related to interiors. This role is key in ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining design and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed quotations, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost estimates for interior design and renovation projects.

Source and obtain supplier/vendor quotations, evaluate pricing, and negotiate to achieve cost efficiency.

Monitor and manage project budgets, cost control, and expenditure tracking throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare and process progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.

Assist in tender preparation and evaluation, including price analysis and comparisons.

Conduct site visits to validate progress claims and ensure cost control aligns with actual work.

Work closely with the design team, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve cost-related issues.

Provide cost advice during design development to support decision-making and value engineering.

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with contractual requirements.
Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

1–5 years of relevant experience in interior design/renovation QS or with a builder/contractor in interior-related projects.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); knowledge of AutoCAD or QS software is an advantage.

Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Good communication in English and Mandarin and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Singapore Statutory Contributions will apply.
Working Days: Monday to Saturday, 5.5 days, 44 hours work week
Monday to Saturday, 5.5 days, 44 hours work week. 9am to 6 pm for Monday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm for Saturday.
