Position: HR Generalist
Location: Banting
Responsibilities:
EP & PVP Permit Renewal:

Manage the end-to-end process of EP and PVP permit renewal for expatriate employees.

Collaborate with relevant government agencies and legal counsel to ensure compliance with immigration laws.

Monitor and track permit expiration dates, initiating timely renewal processes.
Immigration Compliance:

Stay updated on immigration laws and regulations, both locally and internationally.

Ensure all expatriate employees maintain legal status by adhering to visa and work permit requirements.

Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with immigration policies.
Interpreting and Applying Employment Laws:

Ensuring that the organization complies with relevant labor laws and regulations.

Handling Grievances and Disputes: Investigating and resolving employee complaints and grievances, and managing dispute resolution processes.

Advising Management and Employees:

Providing advice and guidance to both management and employees on employment-related matters, including policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of expatriate employees, including visa and work permit documentation.

Prepare and submit necessary documentation for PVP permit renewals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Policy Development:

Develop and update HR policies related to expatriate management and PVP permit renewal.

Communicate policy changes to relevant stakeholders and provide guidance to employees and management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with legal, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Serve as a liaison between the organization and government authorities to address any immigration-related concerns.
Employee Support and Communication:

Provide support and guidance to expatriate employees regarding immigration matters.

Communicate proactively with expatriate employees about PVP permit renewal processes and timelines.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

At least 3 to 5 years working experience in expatriate management understanding of immigration laws including of EP& PVP permit renewal processes and staff disciplinary issues.

Familiarity with HRIS and immigration management software.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage documentation and compliance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
