GIS Developer / Geospatial Developer / GIS Development
Responsibilities:
- 
Database Management: Create and maintain Postgres geodatabase models. 
- 
Spatial Data Analysis: Analyze spatial data using mapping software. 
- 
Map Design: Design digital maps incorporating geographic and other data sources. 
- 
Reporting and Visualization: Produce reports and data visualizations of geographic data for demonstration purposes. 
- 
Library Management: Manage a digital library of geographic maps in various file types for demonstration purposes. 
- 
Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to develop GIS solutions. 
- 
Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to gather user information and provide technical assistance. 
- 
Implementation Support: Provide GIS technical assistance during the implementation stage. 
- 
Troubleshooting: Assist end users with troubleshooting issues and report to the principal for further assistance if needed. 
- 
Event Participation: Participate in principal-organized events such as product launches, training sessions, and hands-on workshops. 
- 
In-house Events: Assist in organizing and supporting in-house events from a technical perspective. 
Requirements:
- 
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field. 
- 
GIS certifications such as GISP (Geographic Information Systems Professional) are a plus. 
- 
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a similar industry or with multinational clients. 
- 
Technical Skills: - 
Proficiency in Postgres and geodatabase management. 
- 
Strong knowledge of GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS). 
- 
Experience with spatial data analysis and digital map design. 
- 
Familiarity with data visualization tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
