Field Support Engineer
Position: Field Support Engineer
Location: Shah Alam
Responsibilities:

Communicate proactively with customers to understand requirements, expectations and to workout solutions.

Handle customers’ complex technical queries.

Liaise with customers directly and make sales / service recommendations.
-
Negotiate technical proposals to customers.
-
Conduct equipment installation and process establishment on new products and monitor the implementation up to acceptance and mass production pass over stage.
-
Perform appropriate engineering operation at on-site workshop or customer site.
-
Liaise with group companies on installation and troubleshooting activities.
-
Perform diagnosing and troubleshooting / repair and maintenance at customer site.
-
Conduct preventive action in terms of quality, productivity and safety.
-
Respond fast and effectively to technical and quality issues that arises.
-
Prepare relevant internal, external report and customer complaint reports.

Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and the company’s Internal Control requirements.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / other related Engineering fields)

Basic knowledge of vacuum technology, PLC is preferred.

Knowledge of technical drawing will be an added advantage.

Possess good analytical and problem solving skills.

Good interpersonal skills in customer service and customer support

Team player.

Fluent in English. Able to communicate in Mandarin, key for communication with our technical experts in China group companies.

A highly responsible individual who has a passion to learn and is able to work independently.
-
Able to travel.
-
Possess own transport with valid driving license.
